Police are looking for a suspect in an attempted robbery that happened yesterday morning in front of 17 Pitt St.
That’s alongside the Grand Street Guild housing complex and just steps away from the 7th Precinct. Cops released this flyer, which shows a couple of images of the suspect. The incident happened around 10 a.m. The 79-year-old victim was stopped by the suspect, who demanded money and said he would shoot him if the man refused.
The suspect came away empty-handed. He fled up Pitt Street and headed west on Grand Street.
