You can get an early jump on the Fourth of July holiday tomorrow (Saturday) at the Hester Street Fair.
The team will be hosting a “Total Independence BBQ,” with local food, beer and live music. Charrua, the Uruguayan restaurant, will start slow roasting pork at 6 a.m. Special plates complete with sweet potato and arugula salad will be offered for $10. Lots of special events coming up at the Hester Street Fair as the summer heats up. They include: HSF Test Kitchen for newbie food vendors (July 8) and an Ice Cream Social (July 15).
