A taxi driver struck a bicyclist in Chinatown this morning. According to DNAinfo, the victim was traveling east on Canal Street just before 7 a.m. when the collision happened. The taxi had been moving northbound on Bowery.
The cyclist was taken to Bellevue Hospital, where he’s listed in critical condition. The driver has not been charged in connection with the incident and the investigation is ongoing. He was given a Breathalyzer test.
