Cops are trying to find out who threw a dog down the trash chute at the Vladeck Houses.

According to the Daily News, a maintenance worker at the NYCHA complex on Jackson Street found the Chihuahua in the garbage compactor. After rescuing the dog, she was taken to the ASPCA Animal Hospital for treatment.

It didn’t appear that the dog had been harmed.

This past November, a dog was stuffed in a suitcase and tossed in a dumpster in the same general area. Police made quick arrests in that earlier case.
