Here’s an update on the situation at Seward Park Liquors.

As previously reported, owner John DeBlasio has been in tense negotiations with the Seward Park Co-op, his landlord at 393 Grand St., for a renewal lease.  This morning we received a letter, signed by DeBlasio, to clarify (“retract”) earlier statements he had made about the property owner and its management company.

We reached DeBlasio by phone a short time ago. He plans to meet with the Seward Park board of directors next Wednesday to discuss the lease renewal.
