Jewish Conservancy Celebrates 18 Years With Rooftop Brunch Dec. 18

The Lower East Side Jewish Conservancy is celebrating its first 18 years during a special brunch in the rooftop space of the Manny Cantor Center Dec. 18. Among the featured guests at the fundraiser will be Adam Shapiro of the National Yiddish Theater Folksbiene. 

In addition to a performance by Shapiro, “A Taste of the Lower East Side” will include music by Cantor Eric S. Freeman. The guest of honor is urban historian Justin Ferate. Tour guides Sarah Gurwitz, Marty Shore and Paul Weissman will also be honored.

The Jewish Conservancy is dedicated to preserving the synagogues and other sacred sights of the Lower East Side. Click here for ticket information. The RSVP has been extended until Dec. 11.
