In general, New York City voted overwhelmingly for Hillary Clinton in Tuesday’s presidential election. She pulled in 79% of the vote, down a couple of points from Barack Obama in 2012. But as an interactive map from DNA Info shows, Donald Trump did attract some support in every neighborhood, including on the Lower East Side.

Voting statistics show the following:

  • On the LES, 86% (21,658 voters) chose Clinton; 10% (2612 voters) picked Trump.
  • In Chinatown, it was 82% for Clinton, 14% for Trump.
  • In the East Village, Clinton was the choice of 87%, while 7% voted for Trump.
