You still have the weekend to pick out your Halloween costume. But if you’re hoping to get in the mood for the big day, the Metrograph Theater has just the ticket.

Starting on Friday, the Lower East Side’s independent cinema is hosting a special series called, “Trouble Every Day: Halloween at Metrograph.” The series is a tribute to the 2001 French erotic horror film by Claire Denis. There are six films in the series, including “Tales From the Darkside,” the 1990 big-screen version of the cult television show.

The Metrograph is co-hosting the series with Shudder, the new horror film streaming service. If you’re not aware, you can reserve your seats in advance through the theater’s website.
