7/5-7/8 Space Camp: explore the galaxy, live the life of an astronaut and go on an adventure.
7/11-7/15 Camping: Grab your sleeping bags and a light and join us around the camp for favorite camping stories, go on a scavenger hunt.
7/18-7/22 Nature Lovers: Children will participate in fun nature center activities. They will learn about plants and trees, visit the park next door and our very own garden.
7/25-7/29 Animal Adventures: Discover animals A-Z and learn about the importance of each animal in our world.
8/1-8/5 Under the Sea: Dive into underwater adventure where we learn about the ocean environment and the creatures that inhabit the sea. Our adventures will include books, songs, crafts and lots of movement.
8/8-8/12 Young Scientists: Children will gain background knowledge on the science around then in the world and experiment with new science activities throughout the week.
8/15-8/19 Dino Discovery: Children will take a journey into the world of dinosaurs. Build a dinosaur replica and have an archeological dig just like a real paleontologist.
8/22-8/26 World Travelers: Grab your passport and join us for a journey around the world. Visit a new country each day through literature, games, art activities, geography and history.
8/29-9/2 Cooking Around the World: Explore the tastes of the world and become an international chef, cooking dishes from countries around the world. A cookbook will be made as part of their travel souvenir.

Summer programs with FasTracKids at 38 Delancey Street on the Lower East Side:
Junior STEAM Discoverers (ages 3.5 – 5 years old)
Multi-day STE (A) M based learning program and subject-based curriculum. Using the FasTracKids® Core Enrichment program along with other developmentally appropriate activities, children 3 – 5 years old can improve their communication and language skills. Children are also introduced to activities that improve handwriting, literacy, phonics, math and music knowledge while having fun.
FasTrack Discoverers is a child-centered program that provides a solid foundation for future academic growth in preschool aged children. By focusing on the development of a child’s creativity, communication, critical thinking and collaboration skills, FasTrack Discoverers is able to have child-centered learning through an exciting, interactive program.
FastTrack Discoverers students are exposed to Educational Zigzagging. This method allows children to gather and repeat information through different visual, auditory and kinesthetic methods, meeting the needs of various learning styles. During the language and literacy portion of the class, children learn about phonics and how to read and write.
The math portion of class allows children to learn basic addition and subtraction, how to tell time and even the concept or recognition of currency or money. Music activities that integrate movement, rhymes and songs provide a creative outlet in every class. We have also integrated the “Handwriting Without Tears”, multi-sensory curriculum which develops early writing skills. Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 9:30 am – 12:00 pm; $250 per week.
Summer preschool “Explorers” (ages 3, 5 – 5 years old)
The preschool experience sets the stage for your child’s attitude towards school. The best first school experience for your child is through FastTrack® Explorers. Our proven method of delivering a foundation for learning is available as a multi-day preschool program.
This child-centered program provides a solid foundation for future academic growth in preschool aged children. FastTrack Explorers utilizes an exciting, interactive program with a child centered approach and a focus on creativity, communication, confidence, critical thinking and collaboration.
Math elements, such as number recognition, sequence and pattern activities are foundational exercises for future learning. Phonics elements provide language activities that encourage children to absorb and expand their verbal vocabulary. Music and dance activities are used in FastTrack Explorers to increase gross motor skills and auditory discrimination with children’s rhymes. We have also integrated the “Handwriting Without Tears”, multi-sensory curriculum which develops early writing skills and was developed by occupational therapists.
Elements of the FasTrack Explorers program include: Welcome Time (transition and socialization), Welcome Circle (creative expression) FasTrack Learning Station (science and creativity), SnackTime (socialization), Movement (gross motor skills), Academic Stations (language, literacy and math), Music Time (FasTrack Music), Creative Time (culture and art) and Closing Circle (creative expression).Tuesday and Thursday, 10 am – 12 pm; $150 per week.
