(For voters who were previously registered, the deadline to switch their party registration passed on October 9, 2015).

In the 7th congressional district, which includes parts of Little Italy, Chinatown and the Lower East Side, incumbent Nydia Velázquez (D) will be running against Jeff Kurzon and Yungman Lee in the Democratic primary. In the 12th district, which includes parts of the Lower East Side, Alphabet City and the East Village, incumbent Carolyn Maloney (D) will face Pete Lindner.
