The LES Volunteer Fair is coming up on Saturday as part of Lower East Side History Month. Details from the Facebook invite:

Help build your community and come to the volunteer fair connecting local residents both old and new with opportunities to help one another as volunteers!

Co-hosted by FABNYC & The Manny Cantor Center, this Fair is an opportunity for local institutions to connect with residents and visitors who would like to donate their time and skills to amazing programs. Likewise, it’s an opportunity for residents and visitors to put a human face to local institutions and see the breadth and depth of cultural organizations in the Lower East Side.

This program aims to give access to additional information about how to create enjoyable, fulfilling work opportunities for volunteers and enhanced programming for institutions.
