The Essex Street Market has announced their annual block party will be on Saturday, May 21st from 12pm – 5pm. This year marks the market’s 76th anniversary. Local restaurants Pies ‘n’ Thighs, Grey Lady, Cafe Katja, The Fat Radish and The Leadbelly will be on hand serving up local eats and Ice & Vice is creating a specialty ice cream flavor inspired by the Market. Turnstile Tours is offering free market tours on the half hour, so visitors can learn more about Essex Street Market’s past, present and future in the new space at Essex Crossing.
