It looks like a crane has tipped onto a building at 133 Essex St., near Rivington. Emergency vehicles are on the scene where the top of the crane appears to be stuck in a window. According to NY1, “the FDNY says it is investigating a possible unstable cherry picker.”
Update: At around 7:30p.m., the cherry picker, which was jammed in a top floor window, was removed and brought down safely.
