Here’s a strange one from the New York Post Police Blotter. At around 2 a.m. on Wednesday, police responded to Delancey Street, where 23-year-old Kenneth Johnson had been “knocked out by someone who punched him in the head.” After he was taken to a local hospital, the cops were called to Patacon Pisao, the restaurant at 139 Essex St., on the report of a burglary. They got a look at security camera footage that showed Johnson and two accomplices entering through an unlocked door at about 1 a.m. and swiping two tablet computers. Johnson, Joallan Garcia and Christopher Durjan were all arrested and charged with burglary and possession of stolen property.
