Here’s an email we received from Anthony Donovan of “Local Faith Communities” regarding this Sunday’s event, “Spiritual Sounds of the East Village.” He wrote:
This Sunday is our 7th Annual, free, open to all, gathering of our local neighborhood’s Imam, Rabbis, Priests, Hindu and Buddhist monks, Sufis, etc. (The event is all about) standing up to and educating (against prejudice). It’s always an uplifting evening of sharing, and a great example of NYC at it’s best, uniting community… Good sincere, courageous efforts of these faith leaders over the years, and against the winds blowing.
