Happening Today: Seward Park Visioning, Punk Magazine 40th, “The Chintz Age”

–Community Board 3’s Parks Committee meets tonight for a visioning session tied to the city’s “Parks Without Borders” funding initiative. –At Parkside Lounge, Ed Hamilton reads from his new book, “The Chintz Age.” It’s part of the Inspired Word Series. 8 p.m., 317 East Houston St.

–Scarlett Lace’s Flashback series continues at Botanic Lab with an 80s-inspired, star-studded Go-Go-A-Thon and Dance Party. 8:30 p.m, 85 Orchard St.
