–Sunday at the Museum at Eldridge Street, it’s the debut concert of “Book of Questions,” which is described as a “song cycle inspired by ethnographer and playwright S. Ansky’s classic study of Jewish life in the Pale of Settlement in the early 20th century.” $20, 3 p.m. More info here.
–On Sunday at 12:30 p.m., international knish expert Laura Silver appears at the Village Temple, 33 East 12th St. She’ll be talking about the “disappearance of her beloved Brighton Beach knish shop (Mrs. Stahl’s) and on her seven-year, three-continent quest for traces of the humble hunk of stuffed dough and the uncanny discovery of her own roots….in the Polish town of Knyszyn.”
