You may have noticed that Essex Flowers recently made the move from the south side to the north side of Grand Street. New signage just went up a couple of days ago at 384 Grand St.. Owner Bill Frazer is now operating his longtime Lower East Side business out of a space next door to La Flaca, the Mexican restaurant near Suffolk St. Hours are 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Saturday; on Sundays the shop closes at 5 p.m. Meanwhile, the artist-run gallery that was previously being run out of the basement of Essex Flowers has relocated to 54 Ludlow St.
