In Lower East Side restaurant news:

Amanda Cohen is teasing fans of Dirt Candy with images of her new weekend brunch menu, officially debuting in September. Items popping up on her social media feeds include: a tomato buttermilk biscuit with sweet basil butter, red pepper fritters and a crispy Sichuan peppercorn tofu sandwich with avocado, kimchi and scallions. A soft opening is likely in the days ahead.

Karaoke Boho has now reopened at 152 Orchard St., in the old Tammany Hall space. The moved was made necessary when Ben Shaoul kicked out all of the commercial tenants from his redevelopment site further up the block on Orchard.

The outdoor beer garden at the Sixty LES Hotel has morphed into a tiki bar. Jim Kearns and Jon Neidich worked at places like Death & Company and Tijuana Picnic before quietly opening Tiki Tabu a few weeks ago. The tropical cocktails are accompanied by a bar menu dreamed up by Blue Ribbon, which operates the hotel’s restaurant. Offerings include sweet and sour meatballs and wasabi honey chicken wings. The bar will be open through the end of September.

17-year-old Harrison Geller has opened a pop-up at LESpace, the event space at 201 Allen St. It’s called Polpo Gelato and offers flavors such as ricotta stracciatella and organic sheep’s milk. You can check it out through the end of the month.
