Your mid-week Lower East Side restaurant news:

NY1 updates the situation at B&H Dairy, which is still struggling to reopen after the 2nd Avenue explosion. Also, the restaurant has launched a new crowdfunding campaign.

Beginning next Thursday, Pig & Khao will begin serving lunch once a week from noon-3 p.m.. “Noodle Thursdays” will include, a rep tells us, “two different types of noodles dishes, reflective of Chef Leah Cohen’s travels all around Southeast Asia.” Each week’s dishes will be announced via social media. $14 gets you a noodle dish plus a Pork Slap beer. Pig & Kao’s curry chicken wings will also be available.

Last week we shared the news that Les Enfants de Bohème is now open at 177 Henry St. It’s the new French bistro from Stefan Jonot, who used to run the beloved Les Enfants Terribles on Ludlow Street. The restaurant’s website (still a work in progress) is now live, including information about hours of operation. The new Les Enfants is open for breakfast weekdays at 8 a.m. (coffee and pastries only for now) and a full lunch. On weekends, service starts at 5 p.m. (brunch is in-the-works). Also, a prix fixe family supper (5-7 p.m.) is in store once the summer is over.

EV Grieve reports that Mother of Pearl, a “tiki-influenced bar,” has soft-opened in the former Gin Palace space on Avenue A.

Lower East Side Greek restaurant Souvlaki GR is opening another location in Midtown.
