Some sad news from Katz’s Deli this week. Here’s the announcement from the restaurant’s Facebook page:
It is with incredible sadness that we announce the passing of our dear friend and head chef, Kenneth Kohn. As a lifelong resident of the Lower East Side, Kenny was passionate about our neighborhood and its residents, and as a 20 year member of the Katz’s family, he will forever remain an integral part of this restaurant’s legacy. He will be greatly missed.
