Theater in the Great Outdoors: Latino Take on A Midsummer’s Night’s Dream

If you’re looking for a fun outdoor activity over the weekend, you might check out Sueño: A Latino Take on Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. It’s being presented by Teatro SEA at the Clemente Soto Velez Cultural Center. The free performances happen at 114 Norfolk St., in the parking lot behind the Clemente.

Sueño features 20 actors, singers, musicians, dancers and puppeteers, plus 60 carnival puppets and stilt walkers. It’s suitable for the whole family. You should bring your own chairs and/or blankets for the 8 p.m. performances.

English performances: June 13 (tomorrow night), 19, 21 and 27
Spanish performances: June 12 (tonight), 14, 20, 26 and 28
