We’ve all seen those big intercity buses trying to round tight corners — sometimes successfully and sometimes not. This morning, the driver of a white Mercedes found out the hard way what happens when you get caught on the wrong side of one of these oversized carriers. Emma Culbert of the SPaCE Block Association sent in a couple of shots from the intersection of Pike Street and East Broadway. When we arrived a few minutes later, it was apparent there were no serious injuries but passengers were lined up on the sidewalk waiting for alternative transportation. Police had just arrived to help get the car out of the intersection. Markings on the bus indicated it’s operated by Magnum Coach Lines out of Doraville, Georgia.
Yet another illegal, bus company without a permit to operate. Who has even heard of Magnum Coach Lines?
