Here’s Your Chance to Learn About Affordable Housing at Essex Crossing
Half of the 1,000 apartments in the Essex Crossing project are defined as “affordable housing.” As you probably know by now, the consortium responsible for building the mixed-use development in the former Seward Park urban renewal area will be breaking ground later this year. So it’s almost time to begin talking about those affordable rental apartments. Coming up Wednesday, May 27 there will be an info session to explain how the city’s affordable housing program works, when the lotteries will open and the eligibility of former tenants of the urban renewal site. It will be held at 6:30 p.m. at Grand Street Settlement, 80 Pitt St.
