Sunday – Symphonics Live
Symphonics Live is the multidisciplinary evening produced and hosted by Shawn “Mr. Symphonics Live” Randall. Showcasing NYC poets and singer/songwriters, along with elements of dance and improvisation, Symphonics Live “promotes Generosity, Love, and Creativity through the continual exploration of humanity through performing and visual arts.”

Monday – Canon Logic
Brooklyn-based melodic indie rock ensemble Canon Logic has an infectious sound. Listen to WYLD and try to act like you don’t want to go dance through a sunny field of daisies immediately (Spoiler: You can’t). A four-piece band with a true indie DIY attitude, they’re writing incredibly catchy songs reminiscent of bands like FUN., Bastille, The Temper Trap and Local Natives.
Their soaring instrumentals, spirited vocals, happy hand claps, and uplifting lyrics are what you can expect to find at their show. Catch them before they start playing big venues like Terminal 5.

Monday – herMajesty
A release performance for their new single, “Fashion Trance,” this concert is sure to be an exciting live show celebrating the band’s critical acclaim and rise in the NYC music scene since forming in 2010. This NY-based dream pop group has a sound reminiscent of Joy Divison, and they’ve opened for bands like The B-52s, The Tom Tom Club and Boxer Rebellion.

Wednesday – Great Caesar
Great Caesar aims for the heart with a vulnerable blend of brass, vocals and indie-rock, drawing from acts like Arcade Fire and Beirut to create music that confronts the things that really matter: love, legacy, and the complexity of human relationships.

*Wednesday – Jessie Baylin*
Jessie Baylin released her new album, Dark Place, on April 7th, and you should be listening to it. Like, right now.
Check out a few of her songs, then watch her play an amazing live show with great energy and heartfelt, dark songs that will speak to your soul. You’ll have a blast if you’re into Jenny Lewis or Grace Potter – or even Kings of Leon (her husband is drummer Nathan Followill).
