We have a few more offers of help this afternoon for the victims of the disaster on 2nd Avenue.  First this from the Chinatown YMCA:

The Chinatown YMCA is here for our community, ensuring that families and the community have the resources and support needed to stay healthy in spirit, mind, and body. In response to the recent East Village building explosion, the Chinatown YMCA is offering a FREE one-month membership to the residents affected by the tragedy. Whether for a shower, a swim, a workout, or a class, the Chinatown YMCA’s doors are open. For years the Chinatown YMCA has been an anchor in the downtown community, offering programs serving children, teens, and adults in six locations. The main branch is a full service fitness facility located at 273 Bowery (@ Houston St). Please contact Derek Samuelson at 212-912-2463 or dsamuelson@ymcanyc.org for more information.

From miLES, Made in the Lower East Side:

Neighbors– if you, or your business, were affected by the East Village Blast, we welcome you to work for FREE from our Pop-up Co-Working hub this April. In addition to the basic amenity of space, we hope to encourage knowledge and resource sharing amongst those recovering. The space at 103 Allen St. is available beginning April 6.

And Renaissance Economic Development Corp. has launched a recovery loan program for impacted businesses. More information here. Renaissance is an affiliate of Asian Americans for Equality.
