Have you got a great concept for the New Museum’s Ideas City festival? The museum is inviting community organizations to submit proposals by the end of next week. Ideas City, held every other May, is an exploration of our urban future. There are performances, panel discussions, exhibitions and workshops all built around a specific theme. This year that theme is the “Invisible City.” The event also includes a street festival on the Bowery and adjacent streets on the Lower East Side. Organizers are seeking proposals for the street festival. It could be a performance, art exhibition, a workshop or a food concept. Click here for more information and to apply. The deadline is Jan. 16.
