Here’s a message from the NYC Parks Dept.:
The Parks Department invites you to the kickoff meeting on Wednesday, January 7, at 6-8 p.m. for the renovation of Henry M. Jackson Playground, located at Henry, Madison and Jackson Streets. This is another project that is part of the citywide Community Parks Initiative recently announced by Mayor de Blasio. The meeting will be held at Educational Alliance’s Manny Cantor Center, 197 East Broadway, 6th floor. The Parks Department’s architects are interested in hearing your ideas on how the playground should be improved. Food will be served.
The de Blasio administration allocated $3 million for the rehabilitation of the playground.
