Coming up Sunday June 1, the DayLife street festival is coming back to the Lower East Side. From noon-5 p.m., the summer kickoff celebration from the LES Business Improvement District will take take over the stretch of Orchard Street above Delancey.
The festival features food, fashion, music, plus activities and games, including a dance tent, bocce ball, DJ lessons from Scratch DJ Academy, live art and workout demonstrations. Popular restaurants returning for DayLife’s third season include the Meatball Shop, Melt Bakery and Brooklyn Taco. They’ll be joined by newcomers such as Mission Cantina, Moscow 57, among many others.
