After a relatively uneventful January, Community Board 3’s liquor licensing panel will come roaring back next month with a lot of intriguing/alarming (depending on your perspective) restaurant and bar proposals. CB3 is just out with the agenda for February’s meetings, which will be spread across two nights.
Catching our eye: Danny Bowien’s bid for a full bar at Mission Cantina (he only has a wine/beer permit now); a so-far mysterious proposal at 188 Suffolk St; a full liquor application for Old Man Hustle on Essex Street; a new proposal for the defunct Le Lupanar space; a wine/beer application for the space at 279 East Houston (presently the home of Lobster Joint); a wine permit for the Tenement Museum; and a new proposal at 124 Ridge St. (the current home of Rustic LES).
