Naughty Santa’s Last Stand at St. Jerome’s

Must Read

Thanks to Lo-Down reader “Old Man Fancy” for sending along this photo of a “naughty” Santa outside of the former St. Jerome’s bar on Rivington Street (which closed last year).  The photo was taken a couple days ago while they were cleaning out the space.  Old Man Fancy calls it “Santa’s Last Stand.”

According to Buildings Department records, nightlife operator Paul Seres is supervising the “interior demolition” of the space.  In November, Community Board 3 gave Seres and his partners at “The DL” and “The Delancey” approval for a full bar at 155 Rivington St.  It’s now up to the State Liquor Authority to decide.
