A week ago, Community Board 3 asked the two groups to arrange a meeting before returning to the October SLA Commitee meeting to discuss potential solutions.  Yesterday, Paul Seres, the man in charge at the restaurant/bar/club, told us the meeting would take place Thursday at 8 p.m. at the venue, located on the corner of Delancey and Ludlow streets.  Today the neighborhood group leading the charge against The DL, the LES Dwellers, posted the meeting details on its web site.  The DL’s license was renewed by the State Liquor Authority but the community board is looking at asking for more detailed stipulations spelling out how management should be dealing with late night crowds and noise.  The Dwellers say the venue is in violation of numerous stipulations it had previously agreed to follow.
