Looking ahead to Sunday, Pickle Day makes a comeback on the Lower East Side.
It happens on Orchard Street from noon to 5 p.m. and will feature live music, a wide array of food vendors and other retailers, a home pickling contest, games and — of course — all sorts of pickle purveyors. The Pickle Guys and Rick’s Picks will be representing the neighborhood and old (but dearly departed) favorites such as Guss’ Pickles will be on hand, as well. There will also be a Halloween costume contest.
The event is being planned by the LES BID. You can check out the full lineup on their web site.
