We aren’t the only ones who are sorry to see Happy Ending Lounge go. Blaise Allysen Kearsley, the founder and host of the popular How I Learned Series says she’s been “utterly heartbroken” since learning that the owner sold the place.
Kearsley’s been hosting the monthly reading/literary/performance series there since its inception five years ago and will hold a final “How I Learned” bash at Happy Ending this evening.
Our friends at Nicky Digital have a fabulous archive of photos from years of partying there. Make sure to check it out!
If you live on this block, you’re not happy to see it go. You’re ecstatic!
if you live on that block the smell alone should have made you never live there to begin with!
Smell is pretty much gone because people on this block actually care about their quality of life, unlike Happy Endings. Williamsburg Pizza is opening next week right on that corner.
