As previously mentioned, the Lower East Side BID is gearing up for Sunday’s latest edition of DayLife, the organization’s Orchard Street festival. But before this week gets away from us we wanted to share some images from this past Sunday’s BID-sponsored extravaganza, “Opening Night.” For the second year in a row, art galleries and LES boutiques came together to kick off the fall season.
A runway was set up on Orchard just above Grand Street for a fashion show featuring a diverse selection of clothing and accessories from Lower East Side retailers. Among the boutiques taking part (pictured below): By Robert James, Synchronicity, Pull-in, Any Old Iron, Ja-Mil Uniforms and Delicate Raymond Jewelry.
