- Calexico , which has been in soft-open mode, officially debuts at 153 Rivington St. tomorrow for lunch and dinner, in the former Bondi Road space. The taco specialists, who started with a popular food cart and opened brick-and-mortar spots in Brooklyn, now have a permanent outpost in Manhattan. Check out the menu here.
- Last week we mentioned that Saxelby Cheesemongers in the Essex Street Market is celebrating National Grilled Cheese Month with a different sandwich every week. Not to be outdone, Little Muenster at 100 Stanton St. is gearing up for National Grilled Cheese Day on Friday. There will be giveaways, the unveiling of a new sandwich and a free can of Narragansett OR cup of Tomato Soup with every sandwich order.
