Our friends at the Hester Street Fair have released the lineup for opening weekend, a week from Saturday.  To kick off their fourth season on the Lower East Side, there will be 60 vendors, including more than 20 food purveyors.

A lot of old favorites will be back on April 27, including Luke’s Lobster, Daisy Duke’s BBQ and Little Muenster.  But there are also some interesting new additions Khao Man Gai (Thai street food), Chinese Mirch (blending Indian spices with various regional Chinese cooking styles) and the Deviant Chef (umami burgers, short rib & kimchi risotto balls).  Also featured: Rachel Mae’s Farmstand, which is a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture on a membership basis. If you’d like to sign up for the CSA, check out Rachel Mae’s Facebook page.   On the fashion front, Coast to Coast Mobile Vintage will be on hand in their “tricked out 70’s camper.”

The Hester Street Fair takes place Saturdays 10 a.m.-6 p.m.  in the yard next to Seward Park, at Essex and Hester streets. For more information, check out their web site.
