If you’ve passed through the intersection of Bowery and Kenmare lately, you might have wondered what’s up with the sleek new storefront at 168 Bowery.  Here’s one answer: a special pop-up dinner series called “ABODE” from Gregg Drusinsky and Sarah Ashley Schiear, competitors in the ABC series, “The Taste.”  Next Thursday-Saturday, they’ll be hosting intimate, five-course gatherings at the Old Bowery Station, the new event space run by the owners of Openhouse Gallery and the Nom Wah Tea Parlor.

On the $85 menu, which includes wine pairings, are dishes such as fluke poke, a roasted shiitake salad with black garlic, a curry lobster bisque, cumin lamb and passion fruit panna cotta.  There are two seatings with only 24 reservations available at each seating.  Previous pop-up dinners at Bowery Station have sold out quickly. Click here if you’re interested in reserving a spot.
