If you’re making last minute plans to attend New York’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, you’ll want to read this. Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver’s office tells us they have a few tickets for bleacher seats to give away and they’re offering them to people in Lower Manhattan impacted by Hurricane Sandy. The tickets will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis. There will be a bus available on the Lower East Side tomorrow to transport parade-goers to the viewing location. If you’re interested, call 212-312-1420 or email: silver@assembly.state.ny.us.
UPDATE 4:18 p.m. All of the tickets have been given away!
