Everyone’s favorite monthly laid back social networking party, Lucid NY, is back at Drom with a fall line-up of cutting edge innovators, performers, and thinkers, plus music to schmooze and drink by.  Next week, their second installment of this season, features Nobel Prize winning chemist Martin Chalfie, who will describe how “unforseen mishaps can generate revolutionary discoveries,” and Michael Karnjanaprakorn, CEO/co-founder of Skillshare, a community marketplace for classes, who will share his ideas on “how to make money from your valuable skills and discover where to learn new ones!”

In between talks the fun continues with mixing and mingling with fellow audience members, one-on-ones with the presenters, or time at the bar refreshing cocktails. DJ Scribe, the founder of ilovevinyl.org, rounds out the evening with his unique mix of Afrobeat, house, broken-beat, Latin, and 80’s pop.

Wednesday, 10/10, 7-10pm / Drom, 85 Ave. A / $5 Drink Specials from 7-8pm ** / $10 ‘Early Bird’ tickets available for a limited time! / $15 Preregistration tickets / $20 Tickets at the door / Only 150 spaces available. Buy tickets here.
