Police precincts throughout the neighborhood will be participating in National Night Out Against Crime this evening, an annual community event. There will be entertainment, food and meet-and-greet opportunities with local cops and politicos. Here’s the LES lineup:
7th Precinct: Jacob Joseph Playground, Henry and Rutgers streets, 4-8 p.m.
9th Precinct: Inside the schoolyard opposite the precinct at 221 East 5th Street, 2-8 p.m.
5th Precinct: Columbus Park, 4-8 p.m.
PSA 4 (Public Housing Police): Vladeck Houses, 4-8 p.m.
