Lower East Side Gallery Tours Offered Sunday

It’s “Armory Week” in New York, when art aficionados descend on the city to visit a dozen fairs.  If  the whole extravaganza has you in the mood to experience some art on the Lower East Side, you’re in luck. On Sunday, the LES BID is sponsoring guided tours of neighborhood galleries.  The galleries will be offering refreshments and many artists will be present.  Tour groups leave from the New Museum Lobby. Maps and gallery guides for self-guided tours will also be available at The Armory Show, at the New Museum and online.  Tours begin at noon, 1 and 2 p.m.  RSVP is recommended.
