Must Read

We’re just back from the three-alarm fire at Masaryk Towers. More than 100 firefighters responded to the building on Columbia Street. We’re told the blaze, which started on the 16th floor, is now out.  Red Cross staff are on the scene (or soon will be) to assist any displaced families.  We have not heard of any injuries as of yet. 1. I hope no one was hurt or died.  My heart goes out to everyone who lost their pets…some that I see everyday when I drop off my Daughter to the babysitter!!!!!  :(  Makes my stomach turn

  2. Hi Ed, in case readers want to know, NEST+m, the school across the street, has cancelled all after school classes and is emptying the buildings in order to let evacuees have a place to go. Should be a (bigger) mess down there around pick up time …

  3. I live in this building and this is the third fire tradgedy in 7 years… Is the landlord liable for not having smoke alarms, sprinklers in place??? omg.

  4. when you first move in you are given one but people don’t change the batteries or brake them so No the landlord is not liable
