You may have heard about Chinatown Restaurant Week coming up March 9-18.  At a news briefing this afternoon at the Museum of Chinese in America the participants will be officially announced. They include Peking Duck House, Golden Unicorn, Nom Wah Tea Parlor, Pho Grand, Red Egg, Shanghai Cuisine and many others.

During the 10-day celebration of Chinatown cuisine, special multi-course dinners will be offered starting at $18.88 per person (tax and gratuity not included). The first-time event is presented by Kaimen Company, a public relations firm headed by Lower East Side resident Julie Huang. There are many community supporters, including The Lo-Down.  In a news release, sent out last night Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver and U.S. Rep. Nydia Velazquez offered their support, as well.
