A traditional Ukranian motanka doll.

This Sunday, the Ukrainian Museum is offering a workshop on motanka-doll making. Motanka dolls are traditional Ukrainian dolls made of scraps of cloth with colorful ribbon and thread. No sewing ability is required. Recommended for children ages 5 to 12.  The workshop is $5 per person/$3 for museum members. 1:30 to 3:30 at 222 East 6th Street (between 2nd and 3rd Aves.).
