LES Bites: Sons of Essex, Nom Wah Tea Parlor, Zoe

Must Read

Sons of Essex, 133 Essex Street.

Today’s Lower East Side food news:

  • Expect to hear some buzz this week about Sons of Essex, the successor to Mason Dixon at 133 Essex Street. A few days ago, Urban Daddy had some photos inside. The mechanical bull is long gone and the place has gone a dramatic makeover. There’s a deli up front that will be open all day. While Sons of Essex is in preview mode, it won’t open to the public until later this month.
  • Wilson Tang sings the praises of social media as a marketing tool at the Nom Wah Tea Parlor. He also mentions plans to open a second restaurant as soon as a manager/partner can be found. Recently Tang told us he’s looking for a small space on the Lower East Side.
