You may have noticed Desserts NYC, the year-old bakery at 155 East Broadway, has been closed of late. Yesterday the shop’s owner, Mary Fitzgerald, posted the following message on Facebook:
As you might have noticed, we have closed. We appreciate your business and will miss seeing all of you! Thanks to all of our faithful customers.
Sorry to see this place go. We profiled Mary in July of 2010. Her baked goods are delicious and the shop was a nice addition to the neighborhood.

That’s so sad and I still have their buy-10-get-1-free punch card that never got filled up. :(
