Friday, Dec. 3
- The Museum at Eldridge Street has extended their Friday hours. They write: We (now) offer new extended Friday hours from 10am to 3pm, with reflective music in our beautiful main sanctuary from 2-3pm. It’s the perfect way to end the work week and usher in the Sabbath. - Make sure to catch Moisty the Snowman and all his friends at Dixon Place – bringing this hysterical original musical back to the stage after last year’s sold out run at the New York Musical Theatre Festival. - This month’s First Saturdays for Families at The New Museum will explore the installation “Series of Vulnerable Arrangements—Voice and Wind (2009)—a labyrinthine system of stacked venetian blinds, industrial fans, and scent atomizers that transforms the New Museum’s lobby gallery into an immersive experience.” FREE // 10am // 235 Bowery.
- The midnight movie at the Sunshine this weekend is Black Christmas – For one ordinary, remote sorority house, the holiday season is going to bring an unwanted visitor, and many of the girls will be going home for Christmas—dead. - A bunch of great comedians will be at The Bowery Poetry Club on Sunday for Comedy Does Poetry: Does Comedy
A Benefit for Bowery Arts & Science.
