This just arrived in the “in box” from Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer’s office:
After receiving numerous constituent complaints from motorists, pedestrians and bicyclists, Manhattan Borough President Scott M. Stringer will release an unprecedented survey of bike lane safety in Manhattan. The RESPECT THE LANES/CLEAR THE PATH study is based on data collected at eleven Manhattan bike lanes during recent morning and evening rush hours.
Stringer has scheduled a news conference for tomorrow, 11am, at the southeast corner of St. Mark’s & 2nd Avenue.
