Art in Odd Places is taking over 14th Street from the East River all the way across to the Hudson. The quirky interactive festival begins today and runs through October 10th.  Twenty-five different artists and performers will present work based on this year’s theme, “Chance.” Events include tours, performance, comedy, interventions and installations along 14th Street in various public spaces. The guest curators for the event are Yaelle Amir and Petrushka Bazin. Directed by Ed Woodham. They have a good blog going here and TimeOutNY has a great summary of the installations here.  Maps are available at The Educational Alliance -14th Street Y. FREE // Oct. 1-10th // 14th Street.
